Thorp Air Command - T18.net

Just completed my uAvionix ADS-B install. As Rich, I also purchased mine from I-Fly GPS, but i was disappointed when the box arrived because upon picking up the box I was sure there was nothing in the box. The price per ounce is quite high. I also purchased a pre-made antenna cable with a 90 degree BNC and SMA connector to avoid using the short included pigtail BNC/SMA change over. Installation was easy except for multiple trips into the far reaches of the tail cone for the TED mounting. It is basically a three wire installation; 12v, Grnd, and one GPS connection. I opted for the SkyFYX internal GPS antenna since it matches my GPS receiver for my EFIS and ELT 406. WIFI programming was easy. ADS-B In is WIFI connected to my AVARE navigation.

I've had mine in for about a year . No problems and ATC is not yelling at me !
