Does anyone have experience updating the database on a KLN 89B? The data cards are available, but they are quite expensive. With the right cables/program/hardware it should be possible to download the data via internet. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Check with BendixKing, they have software to update the DB.

Thanks for the information on database updates for the KLN 89B. I checked out the link you sent and it seems pretty straightforward. I made up a data transfer cable last night, just for the cable making practice and to get ready.

Will post if I have any surprises in the updata process.
