My beautifull Wife got me an I pad 2 for Christmas, I was very pleased to say the least don't know what she ever saw in me she deserves better. I hussled out to the airport to mount the Pad and was exited to see how it worked. The reality was, I didn't have room to mount it and did not want to rebuild the panel to accommodate it. I pondered what few options I had and came up with one option that has proved very handy, when I need it, it is there ready for use, when I don't need it, it stows out of the way just all but unseen. Go to Aircraft Spruce main page and at the bottom of the page you will see NEW PRODUCTS, click on this and then scroll down to the Undermount Stowaway for the I Pad. Take a look at it, I have used this crazy thing and it is handy. It don't rattle, it stays where you put it, it is all alum no plastic, it occupies the space just under the panel.......Looking forward to some Comments...Dan

Hey Dan,
Are the photos on the Spruce web page of your aircraft? it's definitely a Thorp.

Yep that's my 575DG Thorp, was it that easy to recognize!!! After you look at em for awhile they are easy to pick out of the crowd of homebuilds. There was supposed to be a picture of the IPad stowed away , I do have one if someone wants to see it. Hope all is well with you and Family Brian...Dan
