Good friend of mine was kind enough to help create the artwork for a thin faceplate overlay that helps the engine monitor make more sense by labeling the homepage display. See artwork attached, assuming I can figure out how to attach it...

What he did, then, was order it as a circuit board from https://jlcpcb.com, believe it or not. 0.8mm thick, roughly 0.032in, so shouldn't interfere with the buttons.

I will try to remember to upload a photo of the board installed in my panel, once it arrives (probably this week, which is the week of 11-Mar-2024).

If you want something like this for your panel, either hit the website https://jlcpcb.com and go at it, or hit me up for referral to my talented, fellow retired electrical engineer friend, non-pilot Len Sherman.

That is beautiful!
Also look at frontpanelexpress.com. They can do a whole instrument panel.

We did consider frontpanelexpress.com, however thinnest material they stock is 1.5mm. At https://jlcpcb.com, you can get as thin as 0.4mm. I chose 0.8mm for better stiffness, but still thin enough so when you press one of the white buttons, it won't bottom out.
