That is an amazing video ! :o I am not a tail wheel expert, but those them there springs are a wee bit loose ! ??? Not sure how he had ANY control at all. O0

I did something just a bit different with my tail wheel spring, it is the flat double leaf spring so everyone should be familiar with it. Before I installed it,I put it in a press and took about half of the arc out of it. This did a couple things, it slightly lowered the tail and gave the wing a greater angle of attack when in a 3 point stance, I have the short gear legs so this was to an advantage. The entire Spring hits the airstream at a greater angle and I hope this improved the aerodynamics at least some. Thirdly and this is the best part, the pivot on the top of the wheel has a bit of an angle to it, this causes the wheel to always want to run in a straight line when it has weight on it. You have to pressure the rudder pedals to get it off of its streight line, the tail does not wonder around at all and the stability of it is most enjoyable. I have 180 hrs on it in this configuration and Tailwheel springs are setup snug. The darn thing has me Spoiled!! ........Dan
