OK.... I'm just planting a seed here.

Over the years there's been a hint or two about having a Thorpie gathering in the Great White North. I might be interested in organizing something. If so, who'd be interested?

Let me put some thoughts on the table to get discussion going:
2016 or 2017?
The Canadian dollar is low right now... no end in sight.
I was thinking of the Niagara Falls area as the likely venue. Lots to do: Niagara Falls tourist stuff, wine tours, jet boat, Maid of The Mist boat tour etc etc etc.
Would it make sense to coordinate it with before or after Oshkosh, or best to keep it separate?
The border crossing stuff is a little complicated, but shouldn't be a show stopper. (You will need a passport, though.)

Speaking of Canada, I haven't heard much from from Theirry with C-FPVE.
Hey Therriy - how's it going?

Great responses. Now it's not a matter of "if" but "when?"

i had a thought to time it with OSH, so as to make it easier on those who are traveling a good distance, but I'm in Eroupe until the week of Airventure. So, either we do it the weekend before OSH 2017, or we squeeze it in this year. Maybe labo(u)r day weekend 2016?
