No problem. Just didn't want to miss a discount if there was one.

I was just looking at the dates for both. It would be a trek for me to get from the gulf coast to Sedona - but it seems this might be a once in a lifetime event and worth the effort.
If the weather does not cooperate, it may be a commercial fly to PHX and drive north.
I'd still plan to have 66WT at SNF.
KK played a big part in 45881 and a visit to Ken and Gerry was first stop once we arrived at Oshkosh.
Matt is right- the dates don't overlap- do both if you can.

Thanks for the reminder.

I just talked to "Hilah" and booked my wife and myself for the Sky Ranch Lodge. I've been to a T-18 gathering in Paso Robles and one in Colorado years ago. This could be the first one I actually fly in!

I (Lee) has posted some updated info for the Sedona 2015 Fly-In on the Calendar page of the forum . Good News is you can make it a double header and attend Sedona and then make SNF with plenty of time to log Squall lines and count Tornado Magnets as they go by ! ???

Just booked a room for Fri/Sat nights for the wife and I, now we just have to pray that the weather in Seattle will lets us get outa town. We have a couple of options for a route, we can head south (the low route terrain wise) through the "Republic of Kalifornia" and wave at the Visalia crew as we sail past for about 10 hours of flying time or we can take the "high" route through Utah and 7 hours of flying. We are also entertaining the idea of flying on to Sun-n-Fun just another 12 hours or so across the "flat" lands. 8)

It has been brought to my attention that the toll free number that is posted on the T18 calendar page for the Sky Ranch Lodge is incorrect . It shows 1-800-708-6400 . Should be 1-888-708-6400 :o

Sedona 2015 Update...

The 10 rooms I had blocked off at the Sky Ranch Lodge have been taken . If you have one of the 10 rooms and decide to CNX please let me know so I can post the vacant room . If you still need a room call the Lodge and see what's available . They might have more of the Garden Rooms available . If not you can upgrade to the next level room for a bit more . Worst case book a room in town at the Bates Motel . We should have at least 2 cars available for transportation to shuttle non-lodge folks to town . If there is enough interest I can set up a Pink Jeep tour for Saturday . It would be the Coyote Canyon Tour (1.5 hours) . I will try and sked it for a sunset tour and then we can meet at the Mesa Grill for a group dinner . Right now I have 10 AC arriving for Fri. , Sat., Sun . I expect up to 5 more thru out the 3 days . I really need to know how many would like to take the Pink Jeep Tour on Saturday ? You can get tour info at http://www.pinkjeeptours.com and go to the Sedona section
for tour specifics including price . Here is what I have so far as arriving AC and pilots...

1. RB . My wife is driving up from PHX in a rental car on Friday morning . If you are a non-flyer and need a ride there are 2 seats available .
Sil is arriving on SWA flight 256 at 0900 . She is leaving PHX Sunday , 1050 hours on SWA Flt. 1347 .
2. Cubes and Mary Kay
3. Lou and Renee
4. Ira (1) ?
5. Steve Hawley (1) ?
6. Matt (1) ?
7. Jon Levi (1) ?
8. Bruce Finney (1) ?
9. Tanker Ted (2)
10 Les (1) ?
11. John Evens (2) . Driving .
12. Ginn and friends .

If I have not added you to the list let me know . IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THE PINK JEEP TOUR LET ME KNOW SO I CAN MAKE A RESERVATION . Addition info. is on the event calendar page found on the front page of the T18 web site . I will get our tie down location in the next few weeks and post the diagram on the Forum . Fred the Sedona Fly In coordinator has assured me we will get 1/2 price tie downs and 30 cents off the price of fuel . I'll see if the Government comes thru when I talk to him about the tie down location . Questions now ?

It turns out that I won't be able to make it, Rich. My wife is scheduled to have a hip replacement operation around that time, but we don't know the exact day yet. We were waiting, hoping to know when, and that it was sometime after the fly in, but we just can't count on it. I'll call the lodge tomorrow and cancel, so there will be one more room available. :-[
