Wow, I guess I did leave too soon! It's great to see a Thorp receive some recognition at a fly-in! I've got to call Jeff Blanton and let him know. He built a nice airplane.
It was great to meet you, Peter, and Mark. You guys are welcome to stop by any time to check out the biplane projects. I'd be happy to meet you guys at Paine or Harvey and drive you up to the house. Saying that, of course I'll have to fly down and have a look at you RV-8...
Although I left the fly-in early, it was not a wasted day. My boys were at grandmas for the night so my beautiful bride and I spent the hot afternoon out at the river and then had a nice night out in the city. It was a really good day!
