You are right Rich, Sept is a pretty good month and I was afraid of getting in the way of the Reno races, but if we used the weekend of the 27th of Sept it would not be in the way of KD or the races. This could give the out of state guys a little more advantage having some good weather.........Thoughts everyone!! Dan

Dan - I concur with late September - that gives us in more northern climes more of a fighting chance at getting there - ....and as far as the heat goes.......well, B-pop cures that....fly in the morning and early aft....juice and jaw when the heat's got ya beat. De-conflict with Reno (I think Homey is sailing a Cassutt around the pylons) and we should be golden nuggets for KVIS.

Penciled in, Sept 27 for me is free and would be a good time before the PNW weather turns completely foul.

I like late September also. Looking forward to it. Visalia is almost home to me. Was born and raised in Hanford California many years ago. Learned to fly in a Waco UPF-7 there in 1953. I'm getting old but it sure is fun!

Well the 2014 KVIS gathering will be held on the weekend of the 27th of September Cubes, we will meet at the EAA park at KVIS and the motel phone numbers will be as follows: Comfort INN 559-651-3700, Holiday INN 559-651-5000. For those that arrive on Friday we will all be going to the Ira residence for some of Iras BBQ grubb & Grogg Friday evening!!!! Saturday Morning we will meet back at the park for a Flyout!! We have several destinations in mind and haven't settled on the one or 2 that we are going to haunt, that information will be comming soon, I do think it will be Coastal especially if the weather is warm. Saturday evening will be Barley Pops & iced Tea at the park, and if hunger again sets upon the group we may make a run to the taco or sandwich shop. I do believe we are in for a good time!!!!! Dan
