OK folks, after further review, the play stands......there will be a Thorp T-18 gathering in Utah spring of 2014 - I have yet to set the dates and may change the venue so Tigers be allowed to roam freely without threat. Stay tuned for more info. Dan Eggleston - you and your dos-migos will be present at this as no other outcome will be tolerated. You are on notice to stretch El Gatto's legs and allow some clean mountain air up the kilt.....uh....carb.

That is all....for now

Well just got done with some Asada tacos topped with pico de guyo and noticed we have some orders here............Ira, Deano, seems the Utah wing of Thorp air Command is having a gathering of the Tigers this next Spring. No Doubt the Naval wing of the Command down just a piece from what was Fightertown, (they moved Fightertown when our naval wing went live down there!scared em) had an influence on this. Not to mention the Nevada wing(that's the ornery part of the Command) we all know this character was very influential, there are a couple others down there in the desert wing down around Fox and Rosamond that have been known to fly crooked....WE, have been given no choice but to show up (I ain't wearing one of those wool dresses) in full trim, front and center, to enjoy some of the official activities. With all of these renagades on the loose we will want to be included just in case there are any circumstances that create the need for mug shots! we will want to be included. Post the Dates Fraze, we are Commin over the mountain.......Dan (say sumthun that sounds official Ira)

I'm going to try to interpret what Dan just said, i believe he said we are going to be there "Hell Or High Water" or maybe it was "be on it like flie's on a rib roast" or something like that. Sounds like a party Fraser, count me in....... Ira.

I'll come over the mountains too, Dan. It sounds great Frase... If we're goin' to Heber, the Horny Moose was really good! I think I remember Dave Flatter being there too. Thanks for thinking about doing it again! I think Southern Alabama might be just a little far for me, but I'd try that one too. The guys from Florida deserve something a little closer, but that's a real trans-continental trip for the California bunch.

Check with Cubes and Fraser as to the "Preferred Route" over the Granite Wall to and from the "Valley ." They have done it many times and know where the Pine Needles will "tickle your ass " as you fly over the "hump." ???

I'll plan on being there as well. Haven't flown into that area yet.

Rich,
Congrats on winning the Spruce Gift card for your build story.

V023 off of the friant VOR just up north and a little east of Fresno will put you over the granite wall there's about 40miles of some rough country below you but it is a good route, been that way a few times......that route will keep ya outa the restricted stuff on your way to Tonapaugh.....Dan
