Gary : Sedona 2016 will be held the 3rd. week in April 2016...15/16/17 . The Holy Grail Sun n Fun is sked for 5-10 April 2016 . More than enough time between events should anyone choose to attend both . :o April in Sedona was picked due to the really nice spring weather , mild winds and pleasant temps. and it is just before the peak tourist season begins . ;) It was a good thing I had a block of rooms at the Sky Ranch Lodge as it was booked solid during our stay . More info. on billeting , mess facilities and social activities as we get closer to next April .

That's a five day spread between shows. We gained three days. I can't get my undies washed and attend both. I sure would hope someone would make a June Gathering instead. We here in Lakeland are going full bore with Sun N Fun, as Bob is Seaplane Chairman and I'm Car Show Chairman and all this begins the first of the year to be ready for the April show.
You guys have fun.

June in AZ is delightfully pleasant if you are a Horny Toad or a Rattlesnake ! I volunteered to Ram Rod the Sedona Fly In and picked April for the reasons stated, one of which was the weather . Maybe someone can Volunteer to pick up the gauntlet and organize a June Fly In ? Big Bear Lake , Chino or something along the Pacific Coast ? I'll end with a brief statement that Congress has on their personalized license plates..."You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time , but you can't please all of the people all of the time ."

I am pleased to let you know the T18 SEDONA 2016 planning has begun. On Saturday morning there’ll be some activities planned (choice of a nice hike or a scenic flight out-n-back). That afternoon we’ll transport just West of Sedona to the Tuzigoot National Monument. This was an Indian trading post for this region. If you have an “America the Beautiful - National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass” you should bring it (& save $5). http://www.nps.gov/tuzi/index.htm

Break - Break

From there it’s a short drive to the evening’s fun -- The Blazin’ M Ranch. Our family went there last November for a Family Reunion/Howard’s Bday and everyone had a great time.

Here’s the write from their website, http://www.blazinm.com .
“For more than 20 years the Blazin’ M Ranch has provided visitors to Arizona an Old West experience to remember. Featuring a mouth-waterin’ BBQ chicken and ribs chuckwagon supper followed by a toe-tappin, knee-slappin’ hour-long Western stage production by award-winning musicians, it is a must-do attraction during your visit to the Sedona/Verde Valley region.
Arrive in plenty of time before dinner to enjoy the Western town featuring a museum, Old-Tyme photo studio, shooting gallery, ropin’ lessons, tractor pull, saloon and Western shops that line the boardwalk.”

this wasn't supposed to be this way...Lee, How do I rotate this photo?

Lori had fun in the Patriotic Tigress and the tour of the Canyon - should not have to twist her arm to get her to return.
