It's too damn hot >:( And I need a day off!!
This Sunday I'm flying to Oceano L52. It's about two blocks from Pismo beach. there are plenty of great places to eat lunch and bikes for loan at the airport.
Come and join Renee and I for lunch and get some sand between your toes
I plan to grease em on at precisely around about the time the morning scud burns off, typically 10:00-11:00.

If L52 refuses to cooperate Santa- Maria SMX Home of the tri tip, just sayin, is the alt.

The word has already gotten out there may be a gaggle of RV's showing up already, so don't leave me hanging Thorpers!

Hey Lou and Renee,

Sorry we can't fly out with you on Sunday. We hate the heat also and we need several days off so we have a beach house in Morro Bay from Sunday to Wednesday!! We drive out Sunday morning so we'll try to see you at L52 or on Pismo Beach. Hopefully we'll see some KVISers and other T-18ers there. (IRA, I sent you something from Oshkosh that you should have received by now.)

The Elks Club has a terrific Rib bbq with all the fixin's on Sundays (located half way between the airport and the beach).

PS: The newest ElectroAir Electronic Ignition is now on the Thorp. No cross country data on fuel savings yet but she sure rips up the local area nice and smooth!!!
