Hum. Do we need to come up with something somewhere for spring? I know it gets windy in our part of the country, but would there be any interest in a gathering in Boulder City, Nevada, southern Nevada near Vegas and the Hoover damn/Colorado river for those not familiar. Quaint small town, good restaurants, hikes, etc.

RB,
Have you talked to the hotel sky ranch lodge? They seem unfamiliar with T18 group flyin.

Still waiting for final say from Lodge management but due to ownership change a couple years back group room blocks are no longer accepted (same as last year). Room rate is only as good as the day you call to make a reservation. If we stay at the Lodge rate will likely range from $350 to $500 depending on when you book your room (but still refundable if you don't make the trip). May need to find another location (in town) unless the group doesn't mind the rate. What say you about the Sky Ranch Lodge rate?

Alright - Oshkosh is done and it's on to looking forward to the next Gathering. I looked at the dates RB picked and unfortunately I'll be getting off a family Cruise that Friday.
No Sedona and western tour for 218TH this fall.

Rich,
Sky Ranch Lodge rate is above my pay grade, last time was there the rooms weren't much better than the Travel Lodge I stayed at in Miles City, MT at $88 a night on my way to Oshkosh this year. Unless a less expensive lodging venue is found I will be staying home. sorry.

Bruce : From the main page on the Forum we indicated that we researched rooms in town . In fact Sil spent over 2 days calling just about every hotel/motel/roach motel in a reasonable distance from the airport and they all had similar rates to the Lodge (it is a tourist town !) . The lodge HAS been remodeled since last year . If you can find a more reasonable rate in town that has transportation to the airport and back please let me or Sil know .

Still waiting on any other A/C that might becoming ? If we have a poor turn out this might be the last year at Sedona , at least with the Brazell's planing it !

What hotel are you referring to ? If it's the Sky Ranch Lodge go to the main page of the forum .
