Ok….technical question….remote oil filter time—I just have a screen….
An old timer mechanic highly suggests an OBERG filter screen setup. Anyone familiar?
It had been AIRCRAFT DEVELOPMENT CORP, ADC, then they went out and oberg who’d manufacture them still makes them. Cooling fins, 60 micron screens, bypass and metal detector available. Just clean the screen.

Alternative to filter can, paper element.

Looks nice Rich! Which setup did you install?

I’ve seen a few replies about the OBERG on vans and FB T18 page….pretty positive.

I may try it

The OBERG is a nice setup. They are not cheap.
I use the Summit Racing remote filter. Less than $100 for the whole sheebang.

I went with Canton Racing Products . Both for the remote housing and the adapter that goes on the back of the engine . Made in the USA (or at least they were ?) Constructed from a solid piece of billet aluminum . Just make sure you order the correct threads ! Same threads as on the Tempest/Champion oil filters . I made my own hoses . Carry On !
