I have disassembled my jack screw / torque tube assembly and I have made a replacement 694 as the hole connecting to the torque tube was worn. I am wondering what is recommended for a lubricant when reassembling. Both for the jack screw and for the bearing blocks if different. Thanks |

Jonh Thorp recommended Lubriplate, but any good white grease will do. This stuff is available at car parts stores; it is used on door locks and hinges. |

Hi Bob, Thanks for the info. I was able to find Lupriplat at the NAPA store so that is what I went with. |
