I have disassembled my jack screw / torque tube assembly and I have made a replacement 694 as the hole connecting to the torque tube was worn.

I am wondering what is recommended for a lubricant when reassembling. Both for the jack screw and for the bearing blocks if different.

Thanks

Jonh Thorp recommended Lubriplate, but any good white grease will do. This stuff is available at car parts stores; it is used on door locks and hinges.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the info. I was able to find Lupriplat at the NAPA store so that is what I went with.
