The wife and I are thinkin of heading down to Sun-n-Fun this year. Does anyone have a good recommendation of places to stay? More important, any places to stay away from. We are looking at arriving Tues or Wed and staying through Sat. We will be flying commercial, it's just too far from Seattle this time of year VFR.

We are also planning of going down to the Keys for a few days, any info about things to see and do would be helpful. We did the Orlando thing a few years ago.

Thanks,

Come to Tampa and stay on the east side of town, you are 20/25 minutes from SnF. Down I75 to the keys. You have the beaches in Cleartwater. Busch Gardens in Tampa. The Thorp dinner is Friday night @5 , tent three in front of the musuem.

If you are in Key West....look up Fred Cabannas at the airport. Airshow pilot and air racer. He'll get you some hanger space if you do decide to fly.....plus he has some nice toys to play with. For a little money you can go play with his Pitts S2C....for a little more you can go play with his T-6......for a kidney and a pile of cash a mustang ride is possible. There is also a nice Waco with room for two in front if you want a couples tour around the way.
