I was landing the other day at a local strip, and I came in with the power off. The guys on the ground said my airplane was whistling as I came in to land. Anyone else ever been told that?

You must have been flying a Piper Arrow.......My T18 use to sound like a police siren until I removed it and put it on my 31 roadster truck.
Look for a hole some where......

Heard it one time, My friend test flew my plane for the first time, as it went by on the strip it had just touched down I heard a whistle. Havent heard it sense, that was 8 years ago. Of coarse from that point on I have been in the cockpit so I dont know if it still whistles or not? Dan
