Hey guys,
I’m doing some work on my plane that will not be done in time for OshKosh. Between that and an excessive amount of flying for my day job, I had to cancel my plans for the show.
See you all next year.

I have plans to be there for a couple days. I’m not sure which ones. I do know I won’t be in the pre arrival group. Last year I arrived on Sunday. One of 7500+ airplanes that arrived in the 3 days before the show. I did notice there were a few arrivals in the first couple days, and with the weather forecast/actual - many departures by mid week. The current plan is to be back at a friends place 53 miles west and fly in for the day a couple times. Watch the show- fly the half hour back west. Nice thing was i was offered a hangar for the time I was there last week. Sorry Cubes won’t be in attendance, but mechanical stuff does break…..and always it seems at the most in opportune time.

Susan and I won't be able to make it. Getting a little too hard to do.

Terry, did you say "hangar??" You mean, at KOSH? I'm game for that if available, despite everyone's objections to not sharing the turf with bretheren.

In other news, I plan to fly to KOSH (from Oregon) Saturday. Catch up with myself Sunday, then at 7:30 am (freaking A! M!) Monday morning, I am one of the presenters at the new PPC (Pilot Proficiency Center, next to the Museum) for the CFI-to-CFI clinic.

Add four or five other presentations during the week, and it's gonna be a wild ride.

Planning to depart KOSH back west the trailing Saturday.

Just won't be the same anymore without the Highleys, Williams and Conwells! Also many others! Just have to look at the older pics from Butches Anchor Inn.

I'll be flying in Sunday morning (well, that's the plan,) and spending a couple of days, possibly more, at HBC.

Next year’s OshKosh is the 60th anniversary of the design. Is there any interest in us putting another demonstration flight together for the air show? If so, who is appropriately carded and will be attending?

It would be neat to see some T18s over OSH for the commemoration...

I plan on flying to Osh next year, but, I'm not carded.

I’ll be there but I don’t have a card either. If we can figure out a way to get them maybe a few of the midwesterners can help out

I'm game -- but please define "carded."

In order to fly in waivered airspace, you need to be carded, or checked out. There are a few formation companies that have FAA approval to do it. FFI is what I used. Not sure who else is still around.
