Post subject:  Carb heat

When I pull it on, show egt going lean? Thought might be co2 entering carb via muff, but checked muff and show no leaks with soap and air entering exhaust. Any other ideas?

The heated induction air will cause your mixture to go leaner than with cold air, this is what you would expect, not a problem.

Actually it is the opposite. Hot air is less dense, with the same amount of fuel going into the engine. The mixture will richer with carb heat.
