Thorp Air Command - T18.net

Hi,

I am working on buying a T-18 and then possibly moving to the Phoenix area. In an effort to get the wife's approval to buy an airplane, I am trying to price hangar space in Phoenix to see if it fits our budget.

Does anyone know of an available hangar for rent in the Phoenix metro area that is $100 - $200 a month? I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a place out of the sun to secure the airplane. I am willing to share a space with one or more aircraft, ideally other Thorps or homebuilts. I'm also willing to drive a bit to find an affordable space, so south of Phoenix would be OK also.

I've done a little online research and found that I could just tie it down for about $50/month, or get on a waiting list for a covered tie down for $100+/month. If that's all that's available, then I'll do that for the meantime.
