Looking at drwg 599 "JOINT-MAIN BEAM-FUSELAGE" I see a smallangle clip with a screw through it that pushes against the back of the top spar cap after installation. I don't see any details as to that part. Is that just used when the main spar is held on with Bal-Lok pins? Is is omitted when bolting the wing on? I didn't see any reference to it on the folding wing plans. |

Omit it! You are correct in its usage. It is like an appendix, you don't really need it. |
