Not sure what that is!? It looks like modified S18 wings to me. Anyone down in Camarillo?

Mike didn't go through the process to flush rivet the LSA Bird, as he was trying to make it a slower platform. I believe the outer panels on the LSA were 24" longer than the standard S panels, the fuse was also wider than the S Fuse. I don't know what the wing is in the picture but if you could get the length on the outer wing panels that would probably tell the tail..........Dan

Makes cents for a LSA not to have "flush rivets." Less work . :P

I may have part of the puzzle ? ??? If you go to the ebay site in the description it sez the wings came with a Pazmany PL-4 donation to the EAA site . It also sez the wings are a "carry thru" in the fus. and it was modified to accept them . If you look at the PL-4 pics you can see the (2) steel wing fittings (S-18 ?) and the "mirror" aileron bell crank . :P I am NOT a detective , but I played one on TV for one season ! 8)

I'm with RB on this one, I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night but to me it's a Pazmany PL-4 wing modified using the Thorp "C" wing design features to be able to fold the wing. The aspect ratio appears longer than a Thorp C wing outer panel, my guess is that it will only fit the PL-4 fuselage that is also listed on ebay.

My 2 cents, your milage may vary. 8)

I hope the guy bidding on the wing knows this ? ??? They will be in for a big surprise expecting a T-18/S-18 wing when it doesn't fit exactly right ! ::) They should have stayed at the Holiday Inn with Bruce ! :P

It is one of a kind highly modified PL-4 look alike -- Engine is for higher HP not the C-65 and the T-tail is gone,
tricycle gear -- use caution for T-18 parts
