I am a little confused. The nose rib drawing that came with the S 18 plans shows that the profile is the 63-412 airfoil with dotted lines towards the front indicating that these lines are for the LDS-4-212 airfoil. However the profile sheet in the plans (for the LDS-4-212) does not seem to match when I try to plot the numbers on the plan drawing. That is assuming that station 1 on the sheet is the leading edge of the nose rib. Thanks for the help. Rob |

Is it close enough that the scan could have gotten a little skewed and/or the paper changed size with humidity? I used to see both when I was into RC airplanes. |

Sorry. I’ve been out of pocket for a bit. Although I’m not sure I can answer your question anyway. The S18 should be the LDS 4-212 airfoil. The station numbers are in reference to overall station, ie prop flange. Does that help? Cubes |

Thanks Cubes. My question is answered. At least I know which profile to use Rob |
