The following was submitted to me by fellow T-18er Hurant Karibian.

A simple wood form mould for making a gap seal under the wing.
The fiberglass flanges need to be thicker than the two thin layers that I used and the inboard flange only needs to be 5/8-3/4 inch wide.
The front flat I slipped under the wing joint cover.

I have mocked up the aileron actuator slot but before cutting the lower skin was hoping for comments on how typically handled.
Is the gap normally left open, are neoprene filler strips a bad idea or in my case with skin not riveted yet, the gap cover flanges in this thread could be mounted inside wing skin?
