I need to remove my wing fairings to access the gap in the wing halves. Mine has four machine screws on the aft bottom of the wing that do not have nut plates, they just have a nut and washer. I cannot figure out, for the life of me, how to access these nuts with a wrench without severely bending the fairing. Any tips?? I'm hoping I'm just missing something obvious that would give me access.

Thanks in advance!

that sounds like the way mine is attached, but mine also has a bolt (just above the rear wing joint bolt) that I loosen. I have to drop the flaps to 30 degrees to see it and loosen it. The loosened bolt gives me access to the wing gap area. I wish I had a photo, because I can't explain it worth a hoot. I'll try to get to airport today and take a photo of mine in case it helps.

Thanks Ryan, I hope to get out to the hangar in the next couple days to try it out. A picture would be much appreciated.

As Ryan as aptly described, the four screws on the bottom simply hold that end in place while the aft spar screw tightens the whole strap to the wing. Remove the aft screw first and you will have access to the inside.
