Hello Fellows
I'm new here. This looks like the place for some good information.
I've been researching these T18's, speed vs my $, I only need a 2 place any way, this IS the
airplane to buy. I really don't want a project. I just finished up building a racing boat last year.
I would like to know if this aircraft has any bad tendencies.
I would also love to take a demo flight in one, and see one of these up close, really see what this aircraft is all about.
Anybody close to OKC?

I have to agree, you will not find a better plane for performance vs. your $ I think about building a Glen L Marine boat after I finish my T18 project, but your racing boat sounds much more complex than what I'm thinking of doing.

Like the T18, that boat looks fast sitting still.

I'm on my third T-18. Never a builder, just a fly-boy. About the only thing I am capable of building is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Still kicking myself for selling my first one. Still kicking myself for selling my second one. This third one is a KEEPER, the other possible exception being if I found a wide-body calling my name. Really the only limitation is the tight cockpit in the T-18. Two inches doesn't sound like much until you get tired of rubbing shoulders with your passenger and figuring out whose forearm should be forward of the other's. Aside from that, the T-18 is the. best. airplane. in. the. sky.

Thanks for the information, this is why I would love to seat/demo flight in one.
I haven't heard any bad about the aircraft.
Still looking for an invite in OK some where to check one out.
I'm 5'8" 215 lbs, shouldn't be a problem on weight.
Might get a little crowded.
My wife is tiny, 5' 115 lbs. After I buy one, this will work out nicely.
