Hello,
I'm sure this is an old topic and I'm am a little embarrassed to ask but are there POH's and other checklist, examples, forms etc.... available for these wonderful Thorps? I've had mine for about 5 years now and absolutely love the airplane but am short a few official documents in particular a POH, which is of course required on board the aircraft. Thanks in advance for any help.

I just googled "Thorp T18 POH" and one popped up for N50LE. Hope that helps. You may can enter "POH" into the search bar on this site as well and get some results.

Happy to send you my POH which was originally produced for one of my previous T18s, N467JF. Interestingly, it came with my current bird which is N118BC. Just need your email address so I can send it to you as a Word doc and/or PDF. Also happy to include my checklist and whatever other documentation I have that you might need (W&B spreadsheet for example, which you would of course need to adjust for your empty weight and CG). Feel free to email me at phmand (at) gmail.

The POH is not “required” to be onboard. The operating limitations are and they must be signed by the FAA. This can be a part of a flight manual or POH but my understanding is if it isn’t specifically approved by the FAA for your airplane then you are not in compliance with the regs. The same is true for “certified” aircraft. A lot of older “certified” airplanes have owners manuals or handbooks that are not required to be in the airplane. The Piper Cub is one. Thank you very much for the info. I'm in the process getting everything I need.
Sorry late to thank y'all but had login troubles. And many thanks to Lee for his patients working through the issues.
Thanks again, Keith

The previously mentioned one for N50LE is my plane, if you have any questions on it, let me know.
