Has anyone tried putting the Sensenich 72FM8 prop on their Thorp? This was designed for the RV8 (180hp), but with slightly lower pitch (according to Sensenich) it can be used on the Thorp. The Sensenich installation list calls for a 72FM8S16-1-82 for a Thorp whereas the RV8 calls for a 72FM8S9-1-85 (smaller spacer and higher pitch).
Also, has anyone tried using the Sensenich spinner that goes along with that prop? The spinner is the C2396 - also designed for the RVs. Im worried that it might be a tiny bit too big for the Thorp cowling.
Thanks, Tom
PS With a 150hp, I was running a 76EM8S16-6-74 and was happy with it, but with more power this seems just too underpitched.
