Anyone that is running High Compression Pistons(10:1 or above) what EGT's are you seeing? I have a 0360 with 10:1 pistons making about 215 HP, after leveling out I start to lean, I am seeing 1550 deg. + EGT before reaching peak and 405 + CHT. Not the best for long engine life, things settle down after 5 min. cruise to acceptable numbers. I am thinking about pulling back RPM and MP in the climb to 25/23 just to keep things cooler from the beginning. What are others doing?
