I have my weight and balance done, but still need to calculate the full forward and full aft cg limits. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to get this finished up?

I found some posts from the EAA that are recommended from the FAA in figuring out forward & CG limits, but i want to make sure that I am starting with the right CG empty weight.

My empty weight CG for the T18 (with oil) is 62.77. Does this sound about right or will I need to do some shifting?

Dean: Go to "search" and type in JT weight and balance. 62.5-71.0. NL 136 has JT's weight and balance info. BADA BING, BADA BOOM !

Dean,
Its in the ballpark. You need to define your datum for an exact reply. The CG range is 15% to 32% MAC. (depending on who you talk to - 16% to 30% are also listed) . The wing leading edge is station 55, trailing edge is 105. So, given you are using the same datum as per plans, 62.77 is 15.5% MAC. When you sit in it, the CG will move aft.

Thanks Rich, that's exactly what I was looking for.

@James - my datum is configured 55" at the leading edge. Looks like everything is good
