Yep! The new tube has the doubler inside. My original has the doubler installed but the spar tube and the sleeve inside is in 6061T6! The plan specification is 2024T3. Thanks Dickwolff for the inquiry. |

Thierry, I have seen some poorly built/maintained T-18s, but the one you got is unbelievable! I hope that the person or persons who built it never, ever try to build another airplane! I have a lot of respect for your attitude & skill in re-building this ugly duckling! It is very impressive! |

Thierry, those gear legs can be straightened out, lots of preasure in a Hydraulic press will do it, have done a few myself.......Dan |
