Congrats on that new bird. She should really scoot with a 360 on it. I was just looking at the top picture you posted. It looks like there is no bulkhead just behind the seats in the photo. I believe there is supposed to be one there. Its probably just the angle of the photo. Congrats again. Enjoy

Hi Chris, good looking Plane Congrats!! Look under vendors here on the sit and you should find Classic Sport Aircraft, they will have the mount. By the way, that 290 will make that bird scoot also, Has it been flown yet? Dan

IO-360... angle valve or straight valve? The angle valve will require a lot of re-work to install. I have a 0-360 and love it. Two things it will do, go up fast and not pass a gas pump...

Another thing to consider: It is recommended that you use .032 fuselage side skins with the heavier engines. Most of the earlier o-290s were built with .025. However, there are some successful .025 skinned 180 HP Thorps out there.

Ryan- yes there is a bulkhead just can't see it in the photo.

It has flown has 250hrs on her. I don't have to put the io-360 strait valve in her. I just want atleast 180mph out of it. I could do a 320&cs prop if I have the .25 skins? Or what have others done to put the 360 in with the .25 ad what needs to be done? The owner said it would do 150mph with the set up now sure I can pick up a little speed with new wheel pants.

Also any t18 driver around Atlanta,GA?

Thanks,
Chris Cox
