Guys,

I was wondering if any of you ADS-B equiped guys could answer a question for me? I have the Adventure Pilot 720 GPS and am looking at getting a Sky Radar ADS-B unit for getting weather. The issue is that the closest broadcasting stations are in the US along the border. I was wondering if you could give me an idea as to how far you can pick up the weather and traffic info from a station at various altitudes?

Thanks,

Jim

Sorry - I am spoiled here on the East coast. I am able to pickup while at my house (~10mi from Daytona Radar). For my travels I have not seen any lack of coverage (Sky-Radar L & iPad)
