Have some time in Aug. and Sept. and would like to donate 2 weeks to any T-18er. My Thorp, "Tommycat" is now flying in Australia. Prefer traveling to builder in the Western Parts of US...since I am in California for several months before I return to Thailand.

Getting bored playing golf all the time!

Hi Tom.
Good to hear from you. That is a terrific offer you threw out there. And I know the perfect builder that could benefit from your experience and craftsmanship.

There's a young man in Sebastopol, CA (near Santa Rosa north of the Bay Area) who is working on a project he picked up. The original builder deviated from the plans and goobered some things up so he ended up buying a second fuselage.

Quick background on Quincy --
Classic Airport Kid (has volunteered at CAFE Foundation & the Pacific Warbird Museum at Santa Rosa Airport for years)
Got his first T-18 ride when he was 13, I believe. Got another at 14.
Bought his project at age 15.
Excellent, well-rounded student (straight As, varsity Basketball, in the band, etc. etc.)
Now 18 and soon to be heading off to UCLA for Aeronautical Engineering

I see Quincy as the newest generation of T-18ers. Give me a call and I'll get you two connected.

Tailwinds,

Thanks Tony. Send me his email address and I'll try to set up a time to meet him.
