The plans call for the 577 lower rudder hinge to be made of 2024T4 Aluminum angle. Aircraft spruce, nor airparts inc. carry 2024T4 aluminum angle. Aircraft Spruce sells 2024T3 angle and Airparts inc carries 6061 and 6063. Which one should be used? Looking further at ACS, they don't even have a piece of angle big enough for the rudder hinge. Cubes, I looked on your website and didn't see that you offered the 577 rudder hinge. If you do have it, let me know please. |

I have a 2 foot piece of angle left over from my project. Also have the spot facer to finish the mount holes. |
