Hi All,
ZS-UIE was put on hold temporarily due to me not being able to get back to South Africa due to Covid restrictions, however thanks to some help from my old man, the process has started.
Initial inspection of the airframe showed that she was in good shape with no significant issues. Paint has been stripped off and all components are looking very good with some minor repairs to be done.
The engine components have been cleaned and NDT done. All in good condition!
I've acquired a 3 blade Catto prop and will be fitting electronic ignition and fuel injection, with Superior Millennium high compression pistons. Lightweight flywheel, alternator and starter. This IO-360 parallel valve is going to be light and powerful 
I've attached some progress pics. Will update as progress continues.
On a side note, I will be visiting the States from the 28 April until the 4th May. If anyone is planning on flying their T18 and needs a passenger, please let me know! I own a Thorp, but I've never flown in one before!
