Greetings!

I picked up a very complete S-18 project that was owned by Al Pereira from Austin, TX (later moved to Tuscon in late 90's.). I am very excited to get started and pick up where he left off but currently doing my due diligence and doing an inventory of parts and review of all the plans and additional supplements (wow there is a lot).

The project includes some spare parts as well as some T-18 parts. As I work through the plans I have run across a few parts that are not marked. I was hoping that some of you might recognize these parts. I believe the steel parts might be for the flaps/spring attachment(?). Any insight as to what these opposite aluminum pieces might be? They are punch/dimpled but no markings.

Any help is appreciated....with enough time I will find them...

Those small angles of 4130 go on the ailerons. They are used to stiffen the area to support the counterbalance weight

like you said, you will figure out what those bigger parts are when it comes time to make them in your build. When you figure it out, now you have to come back here and update us.

I believe the aluminum parts are flap ribs.

Okay. Coming along well with parts inventory and prep for jumping in on finishing the inner wing.

A couple more mystery parts that I found. They have holes as well as some punch marks for an additional row of fasteners. Ideas? I was thinking maybe wheel pant parts...but could not find them on drawings.
