Does anyone have any idea were to find a linear actuator other than the ones from Ray Allen. I need one for Aileron trim I am installing. If there are any other applications let me know. Thanks |

2 for the price of 1 Ray Allen, is indeed a good deal and they look to be much smaller ? The prices for the RAC servos have certainly gone up over the years (supply and demand). Nice write up on the Vans site. RB |

Lee, Did you use the 30:1 ratio? |

Cubes, I haven't used it yet but I don't see any reason why the 30:1 wouldn't work just fine. I'm getting ready to order one so if you can hang I'm there I'll let you know for sure. |

I just ordered one for my plane. Standard UPS shipping was $25.00. Make sure to pick First class mail for $9.50. I will try and do a build log when I get it. I will need all the suggestions I can get. Jeff Blanton |

Hey guys, Finally received PQ12 linear actuator from Firgelli after a two and a half week wait (turns out some of their products are made to order) They are tiny little buggars! I chose the 63:1 ratio for mine and after testing it I wish I would have ordered the slower one. It takes less than 2 seconds to travel stop to stop. |

Sounds like it may be a tab bit too fast ? I know RAC makes a speed controller (adjustable) that you can install for their units, so if need be you might be able to install a similar type speed control unit for this servo ? RB |

Derek, I'd just return it for the 30:1. Measure it so that you can continue working on the aileron though! |

I think I wiLl return it. However, wouldn't the 30:1 be faster then 63:1? |
