Thorp Air Command - T18.net

Many of you probably know of this airplane, and the original builder/owner Ed Ludtke. It has been owned and well-taken care of for quite a few years by a friend, Cliff Goldstein. He's now decided to sell it and asked if I would post this for him -



Thorp T18 for sale. $35K … Flies great. Gobs of fun. Great round town and good for cross countries too. Climbs like a bat out a hell. Easy to work on. A pleasure to land in a cross wind. Enough gizmos to do an instrument approach at DIA. And an auto pilot to make it all comfy.
O-360 with 1770 hours. Prince Q-Tip Prop. Annual due in June 2021. KX155 Nav/Com, King KLN90 GPS and iFly GPS both couple to Digi-Trak Auto-Pilot, intercom, Narco Mode C transponder coupled to uAvionix ADS-B both in and out through iFly GPS for weather and traffic and Class B+C compliance. Had a lovely talk with cliff today. Truly a gentleman and the plane sounds like a good one, but isn't right for my mission. It's still available if you're looking. It sounds like a good one.

I was asked to correct something on the above ad - the GPS is a King KLN 94, not KLN 90. Also added some pictures.
