What do you all use for your tie downs, assuming they are small like mine. The normal ropes and chains at most airports won't fit in the little hole, my thought was to use some sort of carabiner?

I carry a set of motorcycle type tie-down straps. I tie a loop in the oft to big ramp ropes and cinch the straps between my plane and the ropes.

Good idea but my holes are very small - maybe 1/4"

Use stainless steel “S” hook of largest diameter that will fit through hole on your tie down bracket and then use method of your choice from there to ground. S hook looks like it would bend open, but stainless is pretty strong and probably won’t be the weak link if large enough diameter. Available at any hardware store.

I use a couple of 1/4” stainless steel carabiniers Chad. Buy good quality ones that have a load rating.

Ended up doing this - 1/8" 480lb SS quick link with a 200lb ring. Had to drill the hole out to 7/32 as it was only 3/16
