Hi Bob,
I hope you and Susan are doing well. I pinged the owner, Joe, about the "damage" and his reply was that the aircraft had been damaged in the past. He saw it in the log books. No details. I've been familiar with the plane for over twenty years when Gus owned it. Never heard about any damage so it must have been in it's early days. It's always been a beautiful airplane and a good flyer. Any questions -- just call Joe.

Howard and Elaine are doing great in Prescott AZ. Mom danced the Hula for a party last week and Dad just reported results from his recent Annual Inspection -- his Doc told him to keep up whatever he's doing because he's good for another 10 years. Not bad for a 90 yr old!

Be Well / Fly Safe,
Tony

Tony, Thanks for the reply. Got word from another source that the plane was damaged in an earthquake and subsequently in a ground loop. All expertly repaired by Gus.

Thanks for the update on Mom and Dad. We are good as well, flying the Thorp as often as we can.
