Looking for a good prop for an O360, ideally with a Thorp-sized spinner.

O0 AD prop. BN-3 spinner kit from Spruce...made for the Lycoming and fits the cowling, (you have to do the cut outs). If you need a crush plate and extension...Saber products. He even has the correct prop bolts. This is the package I used and have been very happy. Assuming you are looking for a wood prop ? ::) The spinner has tooling marks on it and will need polishing. Spruce can do the polishing for a price.

Dick,

I have a Sensenich 70/77 1/2 bolts with spinner and bulkheads, has about 100 hours on it. I don't know if would fit an 0-360 it came off of my 0-320.

320's and 360 Lyc's have different prop bolts unless someone has changed the flange spools . The 320 has 7/16" bolts and the 360 has 1/2" bolts and will not interchange.

Depending on the model, some O-320s have 3/8" bolts lugs--the OD of the lug is otherwise the same as the 7/16" ones. I had one of each up until a couple of months ago.

Dick, This is worth looking into. The spinner alone sells for $425.

Nice... but isn't 76" a bit long for a Thorp?

Yes it is Dick, sorry didn't even look at the size of the prop .. the spinner would work on a thorp very well though.

Rich,
Just noticed your prop in the strobe light picture. So is your AD prop painted like a Hartzell or are you running a metal prop? Thanks.

Nope...AD wood prop painted gray, white tips and black on the back side. More than more person has asked me if it was a metal prop ! :o They don't know it's wood until I tell them. :))

Hey Rich, now I got several folks convinced that my prop is Metal, if you keep tellin folks they are wood, it's going to completely undo my story on organic aluminum!!! Dan
