Post subject:  Alternator for sale or trade
I have a brand new, never run, internally regulated 60 AMP alternator I bought from Dick Waters at Air-Tec. Dick builds engines down in Florida. The alternator model is 186-0355. I bought an engine from Air-Tec, and while I was buying the engine, he talked me into buying an alternator from him as well.

I have decided I want a 60 AMP externally regulated alternator. If you have an alternator and are interested in swapping with me, let me know. I would be willing to sell it also....then I could just use the funds to buy another alternator.

i dont know, it just seems like it may be easier to diagnose a problem in the future if the two are seperated....that and I wired my plane according to a Bob Knuckoll's diagram which used an external voltage regulator in the diagram......and I dont know enough in order to stray from the wiring diagram.

As a side note, I just bought a B&C alternator, so my check book hopes somebody wants to buy this Air-Tec alternator.
