Hi All, I'm looking into producing a Carbon fibre Spinner. I was hoping that someone, preferably in Australia, would have a spare, nicely shaped spinner that they might lend me to be the master for a new mould? Cheers, Bryan |

I have a mold and have made several CF spinners ... the biggest challenge is balance. I recommend a vacuum bag or pressure bag to equalize the resin. |

Hi Lee, Yeah, I will be using a vac bag for the part. What layup stack did you use when you produced your CF spinners? Cheers, Bryan |

Guys, I am not sure what advantages there are with a CF spinner over a spun aluminum one. I bought one of the spun aluminum ones from Cubes and it runs dead true with no balance issues. I am very happy with it and the quick service I got with Cubes. Regards, Jim |

Regards, Jim Weight is the main benefit, I’d love to know how much your spun aluminium one weighs if you wouldn’t mind measuring it one time! |

I just weighted my spinner. This is the one I got from Cubes. It weights 795 grams with paint on it. I also weighted a Ken Brock spinner and it is 845 grams with paint on it as well. Let us know what the C/F spinner weights. Regards, Jim |
