I have just received a note from Jim Fain, the organizer of the Saturday fish fry at Murray, KY (CEY) during our annual KY Dam Gathering. He wants to know if we are interested in doing it again. For those who have not attended KY Dam, we fly out to Murray on Saturday for a great fish fry put on by the airport and EAA Chapter.

Let me know of your interest so I can pass along our intent and numbers.

I think it's a great place to go for lunch. Nice airport, good food, great company. We need to go down there about that time for more gas anyway, I intend to do a lot of flying if I can find someone to accompany me. Might not be able to find it on my own you know.

No four pound hamburgers, Patty's has a one pound pork chop you would die for.
Jim and the folks at Murray airport do one great job on the fish fry. All the fish you can eat and sides prepared by the local talent makes for a good time

Second only to Bill's low country boil ... the food at Patti's and the Murray Fish Fry are the best meals of the year for me ...

I'll show you the way down there DR!

That is as long as I can get Wendell's airplane running again :O! otherwise I may be flying a Thorp w/two engines!

I was hoping to have 66WT done and flying for this event. Now it just looks like I'll have to try to blend in with my Grumman Traveler. I just left a message with the park service. I'll get with them in the morning.

Gary Green, Wendell Green and I will be there Thurs. The Olney contingent is planning on Thurs. In addition WX permitting the FL gang should arrive Thurs as well.
