I use a harbor freight engine hoist with a seat belt around the motor mount. Slide it a bit to which ever side you want to lift.

Guys,

I tapped the hole on the bottom of the gear leg with a 5/16 NC thread. I then install a 5/16" socket head cap screw and washer. This gives me a secure place for my Princess Auto/Harbor freight floor jack.

I attached a picture. I find that this allows me to lift the wheel without having to remove the gear leg fairings.

Regards,

Jim
