Today was another check in the box. I got to make my first unassisted takeoff in a T-18. [:p] I want to thank John Kerr for letting me get some stick time in his beautiful A/C. After the takeoff we headed toward Romona airport for some slow flight and stalls along with some steep turns. As soon as John was close to full nausea, we headed to the Ramona airport for what would be a series of almost T & G's. All was fine until the last 20 feet when I ran out of altitude, airspeed and ideas ! Then back to KSEE for a full stop. Upon exiting the A/C we looked for signs of physical damage to the A/C...none was observed. Tomorrow we try again when the ground is a little softer ! [;)]
