At 1132 PST NX115RX departed runway 28R at Brown Field (KSDM) and remained aloft for 40 minutes. It then returned for a safe landing and taxi to a full stop at the San Diego Flight Museum. The A/C came back with all it's parts, no leaks and no vibration. [:D] The only negative report is that it was nose heavy on takeoff...not sure yet where to set the electric trim ? [:p]

Way to go Rich! The YouTube code looks fine. Sometimes it takes awhile for them to make the videos public, they should show up in a bit.

Quite an accomplishment, the years of work paid off. You should have many hours of enjoyment ahead of you in that beautiful T18. Best wishes on flying off the Phase I maneuvers.

Rich, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Looks like a sweet airplane. What really upsets me is that you got 5RX in the air before I got 1CM back in the air. Very similar paint schemes. The two birds would look good together! BTY, did I tell you that I own Mel's design patent on the paint scheme? (Bad joke, but I couldn't help myself.)

Thanks Tom: Yep, got the red paint idea from yours and sort of the striping also. I think you'll get yours airborne sooner than I did...27 years !

Not so sure about that. Need to get ur done, so I can stop paying hanger rent, get the A/C home and repaint the top of the wings. Right now driving 60 miles round trip to the airport (KSDM). Trailering from home will only be about 12 miles one way to KSEE. I can have it there, off the trailer and airborne in the time it takes me to drive to Brown Field ! Muey Bueno !
