My ten year old son and I took N2562K up today and went up too 8000 msl to check see what she cruise at, when we got to altitude I realized that the battery on my OAT was dead but we did a speed check anyway, looks like wide open throttle 175mph indicated airspeed 2600rpm 22"mp 9.4gph, is this about par for a 150hp ship? |

I too am a new owner of a Thorp T 18, have been asking a lot of questions from some of the members. Bought a T 18 with a 180 and constant speed. Needs some work but should have flying soon. Thanks to all for the information. Phil |

Working on a new hanger at the house for thorp (I live at a airpark). I plan on going through the plane and doing a conditional inspection before flying it. Thank you to all for answering the many questions I had. Phil |
