I like the textured finishes, Spatter or Hammer finish, looks kinda nice and is easy to repair....Dan |

If anyone is inclined to use the spatter paint, use the fine stuff, like Lance's panel. Mine had the courser stuff all over the baggage compartment and it looked like hell. It stuck well in some areas, not so well in others. Difficult to remove completely. I'm having pretty good results with Rustoleum hammered finish. It looks great... but it scratches easily.... like any rattle can paint. D |

With the exception of the engine mount and the gear legs , I powder coated everything that doesn't move . You can also get a can of touch up spray that matches pretty much every color . Highly scratch resistant and if the scratch isn't toooo deep you can buff it out . As the place I go to has a min. charge I would take as many parts as I could to make that min. charge work for me . BOOM ! RB |
